Volumetric calculation change
Our shipping partner UKMail have made a change to their calculation on volumetric weight to align with general market practice across Europe.
This slight change will not impact on our standard £5.95 price.
As usual, the only time a volumetric calculation will affect your price is when an item exceeds it’s gross weight (6 cubic metres in measurement per 1,000 kilograms).
The updated volumetric weight calculation is:
LENGTH x BREADTH x DEPTH (in cm) then divide by 5,000.
This will give you the volumetric weight for your item.

The new calculation is effective as of June 1st 2010, and will replace the old volumetric weight calculation.
